Terms of Service

By accessing and using ONUS Merchant Solutions services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of our payment processing, point-of-sale systems, and related services.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

ONUS provides payment processing, POS software, hardware solutions, and related merchant services. To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts

• Provide accurate and complete business information

• Maintain the security of your account credentials

• Comply with all applicable laws and payment card network rules

• Use our services only for lawful business purposes

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You agree to pay all applicable fees for ONUS services as outlined in your merchant agreement:

• Transaction processing fees are charged per transaction

• Monthly software subscription fees (if applicable)

• Hardware purchase or lease fees

• Chargebacks and dispute fees

Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. You authorize ONUS to deduct fees from your settlement funds or charge your designated payment method.

You may not use ONUS services to:

• Process illegal or fraudulent transactions

• Sell prohibited or restricted goods (weapons, illegal drugs, adult content)

• Violate payment card network rules or regulations

• Engage in money laundering or terrorist financing

• Process transactions for third parties without authorization

• Manipulate transaction data or misrepresent your business

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

You are responsible for all chargebacks and disputes:

• ONUS will notify you of chargebacks and provide dispute tools

• You must respond to disputes within the timeframe specified by card networks

• Chargeback fees apply regardless of dispute outcome

• ONUS may hold reserves if your chargeback rate is excessive

• You agree to reimburse ONUS for any losses due to chargebacks or fraud

Maintaining good business practices and clear policies helps minimize chargebacks.

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• You may close your account at any time by contacting support

• ONUS may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms

• We may terminate for excessive chargebacks, fraud risk, or legal requirements

• Upon termination, you must pay all outstanding fees and return any equipment

We will provide 30 days notice for non-material breaches, but may terminate immediately for fraud, illegal activity, or risk to ONUS or other merchants.
